Little spooks.

I see a solid future in death metal for this precious baby. The day before Halloween, he nixed the ghost idea, and decided on zombie soldier. He might be just a little too convincing.

Our little kitty. The tail never made it home from trick or treating - such a disappointment. She slept with her kitty ears under her pillow.

Danny's missing teeth really add to the authenticity of Danny's pirate ensemble, don't you think?

The snow blew over, and we ended up having perfect trick or treating weather. R took the kids out with his mom - Oma was undeterred by the Wyoming winds and made it out for her annual Halloween celebration with the kids. I stayed home and passed out candy - a perfect activity for a Halloween scrooge like myself, as it can be accompanied by pleasant music and a glass of wine.

Rome came home early with Oma, and helped me pass out candy. I had to quell his generous nature a bit - he was giving double fistfuls of candy to every trick or treater, and I was worried we'd run out.

They stayed up late on sugar highs, and woke up early this morning, cranky and overdone, which means Halloween was a roaring success. (Nonetheless, I'd like to kick the next chucklehead who brags about the extra hour of sleep they got when the time changed - they must not have children. We were up at 5:45 here.)

Is that not the coolest pumpkin you ever saw? One of our neighbors made it - wish I'd thought of it!
Hope your Halloween was spook-er-ific!
